The Product Owner – Must have

1. Every Scrum team must have one product owner.
2. The PO should be highly available to the team.
3. The PO should have a clear vision of the product roadmap.
4. The PO should motivate the team with this vision

The Product Owner – Warnings

1. A product owner is also the Scrum Master.
2. The PO does not own the product backlog and does not keep it updated.
3. The PO is not one person but a committee.

The Product Owner – Values

1. Visionary: Has a clear and convincing vision of the product’s roadmap.
2. Articulate: Should be able to sell the vision to the team and motivate it to high performance.
3. Clear: Should be transparent and client on what the customer wants and should provide correct feedback to the team on the vale delivered.
4. Available: Should be available to the team at all times, guiding it, clarifying the needs, motivating it.
