The Scrum Master – Do's and Dint's

Do's

1. Every Scrum team must have one Scrum Master.
2. The Scrum Master should be highly available to the team.
3. The Scrum Master should be an expert in Scrum and organization’s practices.
4. The Scrum Master should motivate the team to try and adapt Scrum.

Dint's:

1. A product owner is also the Scrum Master.
2. The Scrum Master agrees to every distraction from the PO and the management during a Sprint hampering the team’s focus.
3. The Scrum Master does not conduct the daily Scrum meeting.
